Out of School Clubs
The Out of School Clubs are based at venues around Chelmsford (see the above list) and are open from 3.00pm till 6.00pm. Children are collected from their school, and the YMCA Out of School club accepts children from other schools with their own transport arrangements. The Out of School Clubs are open during term time with the exception of Bank Holidays. They meet a great need for many parents, offering the children a fun place to go after school. They meet up with friends and can take part in a wide variety of activities each evening. These include crafts, sport, games, computing, drama, as well as an area for homework and quiet activities. Staff are qualified and experienced, and they offer a professional and quality service to your family. A healthy snack is provided for the children on their return from school, and a light tea is provided around 4.30pm. A family atmosphere is encouraged to provide the children with a home from home situation as much as possible.
If you would like further details of our Out of School Clubs please email Childcare Manager Stacey Murphy. Alternatively, please call 01245 355677.
